Formed in 1980, the Friends of Dee Why Lagoon are dedicated to the conservation and rehabilitation of the lagoon and the surrounding area. However, they needed a massive rebrand and a campaign to gather more volunteers to keep up with the rapid urbanisation that is affecting the delicate habitat.

Research found that flocks of swans were once prevalent on Dee Why Lagoon, but appear rarely during the recent years due to the quality of the food that grows in the water. As a result of surveying and interviewing Dee Why locals, they mention their love and care for their surrounding nature, hence, this insight will be used to motivate them to volunteer.

Thus, a new brand identity is created using the swan as the symbol to represent Dee Why Lagoon. To demonstrate the current situation and the idyllic outlook of the lagoon, lenticular boards are used to present the two differences simultaneously and placed at billboards and bus stop stands. Not only that, an updated website that reflects the new brand identity is created for the community to find more details and how to join.

Lenticular printing is a technology in which lenticular lenses (a technology also used for 3D displays) are used to produce printed images with an illusion of depth, or the ability to change or move as they are viewed from different angles.
